Registering property
Macedonia made registering property easier by reducing notary fees and enforcing time limits.
Getting credit
Macedonia improved its credit information system by establishing a private credit bureau.
Resolving insolvency
Macedonia increased the transparency of bankruptcy proceedings through amendments to its company and bankruptcy laws.
Conclusion
Property registration indicators improved in terms of number of procedures and time requirements. In general, strengths include comparatively fast contract enforcement and a sound legal regime for investor protection.
